Terms of Service

Internet Service Agreement

No Lock-in Contract Policy

R-NET ICT Solutions Inc. operates on a NO CONTRACT basis. You are free to discontinue our services at any time without penalties or early termination fees.

Welcome to R-NET ICT Solutions Inc. ("R-NET," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our internet services. R-NET is a registered Data Transmission Industry Participant with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) of the Philippines.

By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1 Service Description

R-NET provides fiber-optic internet connectivity services to residential and business customers in our service areas. Our services include:

  • High-speed fiber internet access with speeds up to 2Gbps
  • Installation of necessary equipment (Optical Network Terminal/Router)
  • Technical support and maintenance
  • Access to customer portal for account management

2 No Contract Policy

R-NET operates on a month-to-month subscription basis with no lock-in period. This means:

  • No minimum contract period required
  • No early termination fees or penalties
  • You may discontinue service at any time with proper notice
  • Service charges are billed monthly in advance

3 Service Activation and Installation

  • Service activation is subject to technical feasibility and coverage availability
  • A one-time installation fee may apply as indicated in your selected plan
  • Installation includes standard indoor wiring up to 30 meters from the entry point
  • Additional charges may apply for extended installations or special requirements
  • You must provide accurate installation address and contact information

4 Billing and Payment

  • Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance
  • Payment is due on or before the due date indicated on your billing statement
  • Accepted payment methods include online banking, GCash, Maya, and over-the-counter payments
  • Late payments may result in temporary service suspension
  • A reconnection fee may apply for suspended accounts
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days prior notice

5 Equipment

  • R-NET-provided equipment (ONT/Router) remains the property of R-NET
  • You are responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the equipment
  • Equipment must be returned in good working condition upon service termination
  • Damage or loss of equipment due to negligence will be charged to the subscriber
  • Unauthorized modification or tampering with equipment is prohibited

6 Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use our service for:

  • Any illegal activities or purposes prohibited by Philippine law
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software
  • Unauthorized access to other networks or systems
  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications
  • Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
  • Activities that disrupt or degrade network performance for other users
  • Reselling or redistributing the service without authorization

7 Service Level and Network Management

  • Advertised speeds are "up to" speeds and may vary based on network conditions
  • We strive to maintain 99% network uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • R-NET may implement reasonable network management practices to ensure quality service for all users
  • Service may be affected by factors beyond our control (power outages, natural disasters, etc.)

8 Service Suspension and Termination

By R-NET: We may suspend or terminate your service for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Violation of these Terms or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Providing false information during application
  • As required by law or government order

By Subscriber: You may terminate service at any time by:

  • Submitting a disconnection request through our customer service channels
  • Providing at least 7 days advance notice
  • Settling all outstanding balances
  • Returning R-NET equipment in good condition

9 Limitation of Liability

  • R-NET shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our liability is limited to the amount of monthly fees paid for the affected service period
  • We are not responsible for content accessed through our service
  • Service interruptions due to force majeure events are excluded from liability

10 Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

11 Changes to Terms

R-NET reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect 30 days after posting. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Caloocan City, Metro Manila.
